After we landed in DSM yesterday, my wife had to use the restroom where she noticed a woman in ISU gear struggling with her wheel chair. My wife helped her use the facilities but what a sad story. The couple was from Cedar Falls and had booked the trip in April. Very soon after the woman was diagnosed with ALS and her decline has been rapid. But get this: she wasn't able to attend the game because stadium personnel told her "the handicap areas are all occupied". How the hell does a 65k seat stadium run out of handicap seating with an announced attendance of 35k? Felt awful for that poor woman.
