Toughest Cyclones

The post about Chuck Jean and the excitement around Saturday's game has me thinking about some of my favorite all time football players. Some guys that stand out to me (1971-1975) were Matt Blair, Kieth Krepfle and Mike Strachan.

I googled Strachan's name and this painting came up- it really captures his stand up running style. He wasn't an east/west guy and was one of those guys that seemed to get stronger as the game went on- he had to be with Bruce's play calling. I remember people yelling after he carried the ball for the 30th time, "Bruce, you're going to kill him!"
