I think everyone on this board knows the Big 10 sucks....why didn't the committee see it? IMO, it should be a consideration to ask every member of the selection committee to resign. This group was blatantly biased. (Might be the Alvarez effect??) The bowls today showed how out of touch the selection committee was in regard to the Big 10. Enamored with the Big 4 of the conference, but ignoring the rest of the conference being incredibly weak, the committee's four Big 10 teams ranked in the top 8 went 1-3, with the only win being Wisconsin's close game against Western Michigan, a MAC team. While the committee probably got Alabama and Clemson right, how tough was that? Just getting #1-2 right in this era is not good enough. They decide who plays in all the New Years Day bowl games. Should the current Selection committee be allowed back after an obvious epic fail? What do you think?
