I believe they will, for sure.

I think with the loss of Niang, I underestimated his importance to what we had been doing offensively. Makes no sense, but in hindsight I think the rhetoric from Prohm about Burton gave me too much hope.

This team has to find an offensive identity. Until they do, they will continue to struggle. Our improved defense is going to aid in that transition, but we still seem to have no idea what we are trying to do on offense.

These losses are good, IMO. Especially this one to a bad Iowa squad that is struggling to find their identity as well...and early. The team can use these to spearhead the change that needs to happen.

Here is to optimism.
