My feel for what Iowa State team is going to report for duty on Saturdays has not been very good this fall. I've picked the Cyclones to win every week and they're three up and two down. But the two losses were the closest to what I expected in terms of the type of game. UNI, ULM and TCU all played out as much different games than I expected, even though I had I-State winning each time.
So what about Saturday? If Iowa State is peaking in October again, it will be tough to beat. Over the last five quarters, the Cyclones have outscored two pretty good league opponents by a combined 70-27. Stay on that trend line and ISU can beat anyone. But regress to say, the first three quarters at Baylor, and it can lose to anyone.
I've got Iowa State by 16 on Saturday in Morgantown.
