The bottom line is we lost the game Saturday night because we didn't control the line of scrimmage. If Campbell can't recruit and develop even middle-of-the-road D and O lines then we've got no chance. Our skill position offense and our defensive backfield are good enough. However, I'm afraid we're looking at a season (or seasons) of futility because we just don't have the talent up front. You take our lines and the other team's lines behind the wood shed, and the other teams are gonna have more guys come back. At Iowa State the Xs and Os take a back seat to recruiting.
