When I was watching the BU game again yesterday, I spent some time on the td kickoff return. ISU had six defenders from the far hash to the far sideline. That left 5 players to defend the rest of the field. One of those 5 was Mevis...so really 4. Obviously the plan was to kick the ball towards the far sideline, but the kick was caught very close to the far hash mark. ISU should still be able to cover the kick but the placement of the kick coupled with the BU returner's speed allowed them to take it to the house. It could be argued an ISU player was blocked in the back at the 15 yard line...but no flag.
