We only have five wins in history against a program we've been playing against almost annually for longer than any of us have been alive. That's psychological hurdle our program needs to overcome for us to truly feel we can compete in this league, in my opinion. Easier said than done of course, but we need to have certain games we feel like we have a good chance of winning every year (KU, KSU post-Snyder, WVU, whichever of the southern teams is down), plus put a little more emphasis into the Iowa, Oklahoma, and Texas games. I hope the next coach has a little bit of Dan McCarney style passion when it comes to making the OU game a big deal. Maybe we can get to a point where we expect to beat one out of Iowa, Texas, and Oklahoma every year, with a goal to win at least two of those games.
