Game day, lead by Kirk Herbstreit of course, just spent about 5 minutes running down the Big 12. What I took from it ultimately is that the selection committee -- with such forward thinkers as Barry Alvarez and Tom Osborne -- don't like wide open offensive football so teams like Baylor and TCU are penalized for it in the rankings.
What a bunch of crap. Should those two teams step up their non-conference schedule? Yes they should. Does the fact you score 50 a game make you an incomplete football team? Ah hell no.
Big 10/SEC bias in full effect. It's different so it must be bad. TCU rolls Ole Miss in bowl game last year and the "great" Michigan State D gives up 40 to Baylor (yes I know they lost). Clearly those teams were no good because, well, too much offense.
What a joke those guys are.
