1. D was the best I have seen out of ISU in a long time. Probably since LE or maybe as far back as a Tim Floyd team.
2. Offense was a carbon copy of the patented Wayne Morgan Stand Around - four statues watch one guy pound the dribble and try to take his man one on one. Has to change.
3. Thomas, Monte, and Bowie played pretty well IMO.
4. Would have liked to see Babb in there at the end of regulation and/or OT. D is solid and seemed more into the game than Naz.
5. Love Naz's confidence but his chucking threes, both in end game situations and throughout the game, has to stop. A 25 foot contested 3 is NEVER a good shot, especially when you are taking it off the dribble or fading to one side.
6. Considering all the contact they let go around the rim, the foul on Bowie at the end of OT was total BS. Guy threw his head back and drew a phantom foul. Not our fault #1 has a bad haircut.
7. Can someone explain what the end of game plan is?
8. Burton is the most explosive offensive player we have. Why not run some kind of clear out for him at the end of games? He can drive, hit a pull up J or a step back three, and is a good passer. Just sayin'....
