In light of J. Stewart's commitment, does anyone have any informed insight as to what the role of LEO is in the new scheme?

I noticed in other posts that the last several LEO's from Toledo are on NFL rosters currently. That speaks well of how this player could be used going forward. But what is the LEO asked to do schematically? And what tools and abilities does the staff look for in the player(s) selected for this position?

Are we also to infer from today's signing that the staff thinks Stewart may fill this niche more effectively than the two players (Luna and White) who were 1 and 2 on the spring depth chart?

Finally, how will Waggoner (who was a pleasant surprise last year), Meyers (who was extremely effective when healthy), and Thomas (who seems to have major upside) be used? Will they just split snaps at the more traditional end position, or will down-distance dictate whether the 2nd DE on the field plays more as a LEO or standard role?

I don't know if the offense will be able to put the needed points on the board to get more victories this year, but I am very excited to watch this defense play in the fall. The DL appears to have the personnel to be an extremely effective unit.
