This is old news, but in case you hadn't heard, Volkswagen stopped making the Beetle at the end of last year. The Beetle had a worldwide manufacturing run of 70 years.
VW ran this sentimental commercial about The Beetle in the link below. I have a soft spot for the bug. A college buddy of mine owned one.
It was so light that a bunch of us picked it up and put it in a snowbank. I owned a new VW Beetle convertible when they resumed manufacturing them in the early 2000s- cardinal red with a black top.
So who among you owned a bug or have some good Beetle memories or stories?
