In our 10 loses, I think we have been in just about all of the games with 4 minutes left. What is happening in the last 4 minutes against teams that we are seemingly just as good as or better that we can't come out on top? This is just my opinion, but I think the number one thing that is hurting us down the stretch is MM is worn out during that part of the game. They talked about how aware they are of the energy levels for MM today by not letting him warm up among other energy saving strategies. But I would argue it is not just about today. I think the issue is the cumulative effect of going 40 minutes every time out. He really struggles on defense late in games. Of course this causes our other guys to rotate and that leaves the weak side open for the other teams to hit the offensive glass. Take note of the Texas game. MM rested for 4 minutes and then in the last 4 minutes he dominated the game. The good news for this year is our guys played hard and they really never got blown out, were in pretty much every game.
