In the call-in show Jamie mentioned the November cage match we are going to see between Baylor, OSU, OU, and TCU was at least partially a result of media partners' input. I'm uneasy with the television folks having that much say with when the games are played. It's one thing to put the schedule together and you end up back loaded like that, it's another to deliberately set it up that way. Regardless, limiting the playoffs to just four teams is simply too small of a number. It needs to go to eight sooner rather than later. Or you could go full Pirate, only play ten regular season games and have a 64 team playoff. Leach is and will always be interesting.
