Chris Beard returns to Lubbock tomorrow night at 8:00 on ESPN2. When I was in the Lubbock for the game two weeks ago they put the score of K-State defeating Texas on the scoreboard high above the floor. Crowd, especially the student section. I asked the TT fan behind me when Beard comeb rs to town? He said "Feb 1st, can't wait!"
When I was down there for the FB game in Nov. I managed to join a group of SB recruits for a tour of the new $30 million Men's and Women's BB facility. When we were in Mike Adams' office one entire wall was brick like the outside of a brick building. I asked the significance of the brick wall. The tour guide said "It was one of Chris Beard's ideas...but he doesn't get to experience them now!!"
