I listened to some Sirius XM today on Channel 84. They are all saying that the Big XII will disintegrate, maybe as early as this summer. They talk about how weak the Big XII is. Based on what? Mark Packer is nothing but a Big XII hating, ACC a-sucking redneck jerk full of horse dung. They sit and spread lies and half-truths like nothing. Right now they are promoting - yes, promoting not reporting - Oklahoma to bolt with or without OSU or Texas. He is promoting that college football should be 40 or so "big boys" (the only damn term he uses is big boy pants) and he is trying to bury the Big 12 as the first step in that progression.
My problem, other than wondering how an idiot like him can get a gig as an "expert", is that when the talking heads begin to gang up, they usually become a self-fulfilling prophecy. My question, out of self-preservation for ISU, is how tight is our grant of rights? Does it REALLY protect us through 2027? Or, like everything, are there ways around it?
