So we've been putting up with Dish after they dumped HBO and Cinemax, but thinking in the back of our minds that we don't really care about HBO and Cinemax that much and can stay with them until we decide to make the move off satellite/cable. But yesterday, I discovered that all of the Fox Sports bundle was gone (already had seen on here or elsewhere that had happened)) along with FS1 and Big 10 Network (I do watch game on those channels).

That was the last straw for me. I'm going to call Dish tonight or tomorrow and dump them. But I'm not crazy about the idea of relying on streaming only since there are certain things you can't get and the streaming can be somewhat unstable at times. We already use streaming services for various things, but to rely on them for sports in particular doesn't feel realistic.

I don't want to use Direct since they seem to lose channels almost as often as Dish. I've thought about moving to Mediacom, but have real reservations after having them years ago and found their service to be abysmal at best. But I want either cable or satellite so I need to go with the lesser of three evils. Sorry for bringing this topic up again after what seems like hundreds of other threads, but for those in the Des Moines area who have Mediacom, what are your thoughts/opinions on making that move? Again, sorry for bringing this up again. TIA for the feedback.
