Before I went to Denver I set the DVR to record all the games on CBS. The last couple of days I have been speeding through them and am now watching the very last one - Iowa vs Villanova. This has to be the worst game of the tournament thus far. The game was over shortly after it begun.
The Gonzaga-Utah game may be in the same category, but since that game wasn't on CBS, I didn't get to see it. 1-16 games are often blowouts and that is expected, but these two games were expected to be competitive. How disappointing for the fans of these teams to see such a lackluster performance.
I hereby nominate the Iowa-Villanova game as the "Stinker of the Tournament".
