There are knuckle draggers over on their board insisting that Campbell screwed Lazard over. The reason? He didn't switch him to TE. They say Campbell knew Lazard didn't have the speed to be an NFL WR so he should have switched him to TE. Um, how come the only time I ever heard that argument is on a SQUAWK board? Was that EVER brought up here ... by anyone? From what I understand, Lazard wanted to be a WR. And who said he didn't have the speed? Didn't he run a 4.55 at the combine or a pro day? That's plenty fast enough for a big WR in the NFL.
