Son's first visit to Ames

I am bringing my 18 year old son for his first visit to ISU for the game against Texas on 11/16 and we are also going to stick around to catch the basketball game against Southern Miss in Hilton on 11/19. He has grown up watching ISU sports with me in New Jersey, has become a die hard Clones fan and has always wanted to go games in Ames. I have not been back to Ames for at least 10 years. Going to show the boy around Ames and visit Des Moines to show him where I met his mother while attending grad school at Drake. Trying to create memories with my son. I am looking for any ideas on things we must see during our visit. Appreciate any assistance from the board.
