So, I was thinking about the o line and I thought back to that Iowa game. Iowa is supposed to have one of the best defenses in the country (debatable) yet our offense pushed them around in the second half of that game. The kicker is that 99 3/4 yard drive we had where the o line did a great job of getting a push and protecting HD.
If the o line is bad, how did it push Iowa around like it did and own them on a time consuming length of field TD drive yet couldn’t get a consistent push or pass protect against a marginal defense in KU? I believe the same starters were in play in both games.
