I have seen several posts mentioning the feeling like we are moving away from shooting as many 3's since McKay has joined the rotation. The stats back that up.
From the beginning of the season through Southern the 3P rate (% of shots that are 3pt attempts)
averaged 40.1% with a max of 49.28% against Lamar

3PT Rate average 35.5% which is a significant drop. That average includes a 44.4% rate game against MVSU.
I may have mentioned this previously but ISU wins games more often when they shoot
