My announcing side hustle took me out to Southeast Polk HS tonight to do PA for the boys game against Des Moines North. Although he wasn’t playing, as he’s out with a broken thumb in his throwing hand, I caught up with 2024 QB Connor Moberly afterwards.
He says that CMC will be in-school to see him on Friday. Also, Moberly has scheduled a Junior Day visit for January 28th. The SEP QB is ISU’s clear-cut #1 at the position in the 2024 class.
Moberly also grew up a Cyclone fan and attended games with his family.
On the opposing side, Cyclone DE signee David Caulker was a man among boys in the paint. He led the Polar Bears in scoring. Great looking kid and already has the build of a college defensive lineman.
