Next door neighbor has a Toro and here's the deal. It won't run:) Here's what I mean by that. Gas is good. He's checked fuel & its flowing. Spark plug is good. Basically everything we know how to take part/off & check seems to check out. When he pours a little gas in the carb it will start and run a few seconds and then shuts down. If we work the throttle link it will run a little longer but eventually stops. I know about as much about small engines as do the F-1 engines that were used on the Saturn V. Just checking to see if anyone might have some thoughts before it goes to the small- =engine shop. TIA!
