Steve Prohm said today at Big 12 Media Days that Iowa State's so-called secret scrimmage has been scheduled for Sunday. The Cyclones will scrimmage against Nebraska.
Also of note today, Prohm hinted that Merrill Holden will be the fifth starter for the Cyclones, filling the 5 spot. Holden and Darrell Bowie are vying for the spot; both are grad transfers. Regardless of who starts, I think ISU needs the two of them to be a tandem that plays to a level of one solid Big 12 post.
