So what are you're personal criteria for the new HC? Here are mine:
1. Able to do more with less. Not someone who has spent his whole career at a traditional power. Able to evaluate talent better than peers.
2. Midwest/ISU/Big 12 ties. Has to know what he is getting into. I just don't know that southerners or west coast guys can really recruit to ISU.
3. Current or former HC. I think that this is important, but not the primary concern.
4. Outgoing personality. I don't think that a boring, button up guy works for ISU FB. But winning trumps everything.
The new HC is going to have to have a big budget for staff. He's going to need someone with Iowa ties for recruiting. And, I would rather see schemes similar to what we have now.
