After watching some CNN video, I have learned that there are 2 judicial systems, the 700 district courts, and the immigration courts. Based upon my knowledge at this point, I would say anyone that is an illegal alien can only go through the immigration courts. Immigration courts are purely under the domain of the POTUS. Judges work for the Attorney General, they are not lifetime appointments, and yes they can be fired. They do not answer to Congress or the Supreme Court, as congress set it up specifically this way. And so called Due Process in these courts is to NOT delay deportation, it effectively is whatever the Attorney General says. I will admit that I am no expert on this, but after watching the interview on CNN, I would say that it is very likely the POTUS has full control over deportations, it resides exclusively in the Executive Branch, not congress, not district courts, not in SCOTUS.
