full time inschool for Sergeant Bluff Luton schools. Parents could opt their kid(s) out of inschool for online but must commit for 9 weeks. Sioux City schools are going with 2 days inschool, 2 days online and one day at home with teacher availability which qualifies them for the state mandate of at least 3 days inschool. What I heard anyway.
SBL scrimmaged SC East Friday night and first game will be this Friday night vs SC West. We are in same conference as 4A Sioux City Schools (3 - East, West North), 4A Council Bluffs schools (2 AL and TJ) and #3A schools SC Heelan and LeMars . Since our 3A District has only other 3A Schools Rock Valley, LeMars, Storm Lake, Heelan and Spencer we only play 2 teams in our conference (Heelan & LeMars). We also play non-conference/district 3A Council Bluffs Lewis Central.
Sioux City 4A schools used to be in the Sioux Interstate Conference with the Sioux Falls, SD schools but the state of SD forced the Sioux Falls schools to join with the Rapid City, SD schools. That is a nice trek in the winter to play basketball.
