Playing on Saturday and then turning around and playing on Monday would seem to be a grind for any team. Only one day to prepare for the Monday night game and even tougher if the Monday night game is not at home. I guess the Big Monday exposure is good and you get additional days to prepare for the next game following Monday. Also, it does simulate the NCAA tourney. In the Big 12 here are the following Sat-Mon games, including this past weekend. KU is the only team that has a home-home schedule on Jan 31-Feb 2. Didn't include TTU and TCU.
