I admit, I don't know what all goes into those ratings, but I can't for the life of me understand them. I don't usually even look much at them.
Would somebody please explain to me how our RPI is 29? I see some of these teams above us, and it just doesn't make any sense considering the four wins he have on our resume in the last couple of weeks.
Sagarin is that one that really throws me off. Xavier, Iowa, and Memphis are all slotted many spots ahead of us. Is this metric just based on offensive efficiency??
All that being said, I haven't had this much fun watching an ISU basketball team in a long time! I love the defensive part of the game....have always been that way. This team is connected on that end to a level we aren't used to seeing lately. It is really fun to watch.
I have no choice now but to raise my expectations exponentially. What a fun group of men to watch play.
