What an up and down season. I really thought we could hang with them tonight. The crowd was never able to get in it which really sucks.
I look back and there are always plays that can turn games quickly. There are several from this game. Early first half the three for VA that bounced straight up and in; the block on Niang's shot to end the first half; Niang missing two pretty easy layups second half; missing fts; the big man for VA hitting that shot and being fouled when we had got it to 7. That was when I knew it just wasn't gonna be our night.
Any combination of three of those things go the other way and we are likely in a game that is 5 points or under and the crowd is in it, etc.
Hindsight is 20/20 and credit VA for their defense, they are the real deal.
