Rivals recruiting analyst Nick Krueger has Iowa State with a "B" grade for its 2017 football recruiting performance so far. That was his third highest grade, behind Oklahoma with an A+ and Oklahoma State with a B+.

Worth noting: Iowa State is still second among Big 12 schools in the Rivals team rankings, sitting at No. 30. Oklahoma State is close behind at third in the conference and No. 33 nationally. Oklahoma is No. 3 nationally.
