Legendary, reclusive drummer of Cream, Ginger Baker is dead at age 80. He along with lead singer and bassist, Jack Bruce and guitarist, Eric Clapton formed one of the first supergroups of the late 60’s. “White Room” and “Sunshine of your Love” are iconic Cream songs from that era. Ginger was innovative, being the first to use two bass drums with his kit. The 5:4 time signature in White Room was an example of his innovation.
