MADISON, Wis. – Iowa State junior Maelle Porcher finished the women’s cross country season at the NCAA Championships on Saturday morning.
Porcher finished 104th at the national championship meet with a time of 20:32.9. Porcher ran with the lead pack through the first 3K of the 6K race, holding her position between 65th and 80th in the field of over 250 runners.
Porcher qualified for her third consecutive national championship meet and second as a Cyclone after finishing third at the NCAA Midwest Regional last Friday in Peoria, Illinois. Her participation at the NCAA Championships marks Iowa State’s 16th straight season with a representative at the national championship meet.
