We really need a JC QB or immediately eligible grad transfer. Unless of course DeLira is fully ready to go and at least one of the walk on players is better than that status.
Lanning's strength is his dual threat capability. If we have no backup, he becomes just a passer and he is not a good passer when he isn't a run threat as well. And if we have no read back ups we won't be able to run him much - certainly not on designed run plays.
But they need to be here for spring and that boat appears to be at least getting ready to leave the dock. Maybe we can still find a competent guy, but time is dwindling quickly.
