Just spitballing here, but would we all feel the same level of disappointment in this year' s team had we defeated Baylor and TCU at home but lost on the road to KSU and TTU?
I know it's not as simple as that, because those wins prove we are more than capable of handling TCU/Baylor at home and raise expectations. However, let's just say the wins and losses were reversed. Would we feel as down?
The funny thing about it all, and I am open to being corrected, is that the wins at KSU and at TTU add more to our resume than home losses to Baylor and TCU take away. So for those four games, it's a net gain winning and losing to the teams we did.
