1. The handwringing from some on here about Jamie's "arrogance" screwing up the process or worrying that the "cancelled interviews" were signs of incompetence" can now cease. It would also probably be a good idea to remember how smoothly and quickly this hiring took place regardless of the rumormongering taking place in the media. Saying there is no news doesn't generate clicks or ad revenue.
2. Apparently qualified candidates do want to coach at ISU and while the Campbell era needs to play out, the hiring is being lauded by most across college football.
3. Sometimes it's a pretty good idea to let the people with experience, information, and motivation just do their thing and hope for the best.
