1. It was announced Monday that Tyrese Haliburton, a finalist for the Bob Cousy Award, would miss the remainder of the season after fracturing his left wrist in a fall against Kansas State.
2. The point guard duties will likely shift largely to sophomore Rasir Bolton, who has spent time running the offense when Haliburton moved off the ball.
3. Bolton is leading the Cyclones in Big 12 play with 15.3 points per game...he has averaged 17.4 points the last five games.
4. Solomon Young has posted two 20-point games in his career, both of them coming in the last six games...he scored 20 points on Saturday against the Wildcats.

LAST TIME OUT - CYCLONES EARN WIN AGAINST KANSAS STATE
• Iowa State snapped a four-game skid with a 73-63 win at Hilton Coliseum against Kansas State Saturday...the Cyclones opened the game on a 21-2 run and never trailed...K-State would close the lead to just four points in the second half, but ISU responded and held on for the win.
• The win was costly as Haliburton, who finished with nine points, four rebounds and three assists, suffered a wrist injury, later revealed to be a broken wrist, on a blocked shot with 54 seconds remaining in the first half.
• Solomon Young finished with a team-high 20 points on 7-for-9 shooting and 6-for-7 free-throw shooting...Bolton added 13 points and Terrence Lewis came off the bench to score 12 points, including a pair of huge threes down the stretch to secure the win...Prentiss Nixon scored nine second-half points while replacing Haliburton in the lineup.
• ISU made 19-of-20 free throws, the third-best performance at the line (20 att.) in the last 30 years for the program.
