AMES, Iowa - Iowa State heads back to Kansas City and Sprint Center for the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship. The Cyclones will face Oklahoma State Wednesday at 6 p.m.

1. Iowa State head coach looks for his 200th career victory Wednesday...he'd be the eighth active Big 12 coach to reach 200 career wins.
2. Tyrese Haliburton earned All-Big 12 Second Team honors from the league's coaches, while Rasir Bolton was named All-Big 12 Honorable Mention.
3. Solomon Young is averaging 14.2 points and shooting 62 percent from the field the last nine games.

LAST TIME OUT - CYCLONES FALL AT KANSAS STATE
• Iowa State lost to Kansas State, 79-63, in the regular season finale for both teams Saturday in Manhattan...the shorthanded Cyclones were playing without their two primary ball handlers in Haliburton and Bolton (concussion protocal)...Prentiss Nixon suffered an ankle injury midway through the second half that ended his day...with Tre Jackson and Terrence Lewis fouled out, ISU turned to walk-on Nate Jenkins, who played 11 minutes and scored two points.
• Young led the Cyclones with 17 points and Lewis added 11 points...Jacobson had a game-high 11 rebounds.

IOWA STATE-OKLAHOMA STATE SERIES NOTES
• Iowa State and Oklahoma State are meeting for the 133rd time in a series that has been as close as it can possibly be...after a regular season split, the series is tied at 66-66...OSU leads 11-8 in games played in conference tournaments, including 3-2 at the Big 12 Tournament...ISU won the last meeting 92-83 in the quarterfinals of the 2017 tournament in Kansas City.
• The teams have played 13 overtime games with OSU leading 7-6 in those games...since 2010, 17 of 21 games in the series have been decided by single digits.

ISU CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP HISTORY
• The Cyclones are the No. 9 seed in this year's championship...this is the third time ISU has been the 9-seed, owning a 1-2 record in those games...1999 and 2003 were the other seasons that ISU was the 9-seed.
• Steve Prohm is 6-2 coaching in the Big 12 Championship...he is one of eight coaches (two active) that has won a Big 12 Tournament title...he and Bill Self are the only active Big 12 coaches with Big 12 Tournament titles...only ISU and Kansas have won the tournament crown since 2013.
• Iowa State has won 12 of its last 14 games at the championship, winning the title in four of the last six seasons...last season, ISU defeated Baylor, Kansas State and Kansas, all of which were upsets according to seeds.
• ISU is 20-18 in the Big 12 Championships, winning the tournament five times (2000, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2019).

• ISU has won a game at the tournament in five of the last seven seasons.
