With Tyson plants shutting down/slowing down, are pork producers working any deals with local meat lockers to try and sell the hogs they have vs having to slaughter them with no buyer? I have not contacted any local lockers yet, but plan to this afternoon, unless they are closed too. It would seem to be a good time to buy a hog and put in deep freezer as there will be a big drop in pork products in the coming weeks and months, if not longer.
