So I have a new black Nissan Frontier pickup and thinking of getting personalized plates. I've had a company car for about 18 years but now receive an auto allowance. Before my co. vehicle I had red/yellow Personalized plates that read IOWAST8 but that is no longer available. Which one of you bastards took it
This time I'm going with the new black plates but would like an Iowa St reference. The Iowa DOT has a pretty cool website where you can check availability:

So far I've come up with these possiblities (Keep in mind IOWA will be right above the actual plate number):
STATE8
ST8CY
DUGISU (My name is Doug)
HOTDUG (Inside joke with my wife who wants me to get this. On my 60th birthday she had a singing telegram sing the Donna Summer song Hot Stuff but changed it to Hot Doug rewritten with my life story. Many of my friends in town now refer to me as Hot Doug. My oldest said he will not ride in my pickup with those plates😂)
I'd prefer to stick with an ISU reference. Any better ideas? I can't believe STEIGHT is taken.
On a side note when I had IOWAST8 many people would seriously ask what the 8 meant. The plate was inset in a metal frame and it slid into and just below a botom crack sbout a half inch or so wide. Some idiot took the time to bend the 8 over so it covered the ST and just read IOWA. Seriously, he had to use a pliers or wrench to do it since it was difficult to bend it back.
