Starting the second season. It isn't as bad as one might think. Definitely watchable as treadmill fare.
Biggest problem for me is that the two principal characters look and act -- and their roles are written -- as if they were significantly older than they are supposed to be, which is 16. Turns out the actor and actress were, respectively, 22 and 28 when the first season began. That's a big jump. .
