Was bored so thought I'd do some research. For a few years now I, and probably all of us, have been frustrated at how little/few points we put on the board. Here are some numbers I pulled together since 2006...
Total games: 123
Games 40+ scoring: 9 (7%)
Games 35-39: 12 (10%)
Games 30-34: 18 (14%)
Games 20-29: 33 (27%)
Games 10-19: 30 (24%)
Games 0-9: 21 (17%)
That is incredibly depressing. I knew we struggled to reach 30 points quite often but not THIS often. In the past 10 years plus two this year, basically 7/10 (68%) games we aren't scoring 30 points. Even more eyebrow-raising is that we score under 20 in 4/10 games (41%). The fact we have more than a 50% chance of scoring under 10 vs over 40 is also depressing.
