Army raised what I think is a very interesting point. He said that he thought that 80% of our best players came from Florida, Texas and, I think, California. That might make an interesting conversation, on a couple of levels. First, how to define "best." Second, what time frame to consider.
I am not going to try to define "best" because that is kind of an eye of the beholder type of thing. But, since I started this thread, I am going to define the time frame as since the Majors era.
Today, I am going for the low-hanging fruit: QB's and RB's. 5 each. (5 x 22 positions = 110 players)
QB: Seneca (California), Sage (Iowa), Brett Meyer (Iowa), Austin Arnaud (Iowa), Dean Carlson (Minnesota)
RB: Troy (Florida), Dexter Green (Florida?), Darren (Florida), George Amundson (South Dakota), A-Rob (Minnesota)
Have at it. If I remember, tomorrow we will do TE's and WR's.
