With the start of college football tonite, I've seen the usual ads for the schools playing games. Who do you think those ads should be geared to? Potential students? Alumni? College football fans?
IMO, ISU has had some bad ones in the past. I guess my take would be that they should be geared to your own fans and build pride in your institution. My Marshall fandom likes what they do. They tout the "learning stuff" but end it up with fans and "We Are Marshall" chant.
I'd like to see an ad this year that touts ag, or engineering, or something like that. Then finish it up with a swooping shot over a red clad JTS.
Any marketing gurus on here? What say you? Any school's ads that you like or hate?
