Thought it might be interesting to see what communities look and feel like during the virus scare.......
I am in Ankeny, still have to go in to my small business office although we are not seeing clients face to face. In the past week to 10 days I have only been to work (which is in Ankeny) the gas station, grocery store and a couple of drive thru's. My wife and son have been almost entirely at home.
Ankeny seems to be doing pretty well at social distancing. There are some cars out, folks in drive thru's, some walking, running or out with the dog. Grocery stores not too awful. I personally have not seen more than 3 folks together (near) each other that I can think of. It is pretty weird. Weird at work as our office is the only one in our second floor building still open. My son is doing fine, 15 year old. Trying to keep him busy but at that age they talk to friends on line and play video games.
What are your towns like?
Hope everyone is safe, miss my Cyclone Sports, miss watching my son play soccer, miss my Mom and Dad in Phoenix, and My Sisters in Dallas and Nashville. Here is hoping we get back to some normalcy soon and everyone's friends and families survive the scare.
