OT: US reports nationwide fixed broadband subscriber decline

I found this surprising. It will be interesting to see if this trend continues, particularly a shift to more mobile broadband users. I envision that still to be slow and expensive, but maybe there is hope on the horizon for rural users. It would be great for me if I can subscribe to one broadband service and use it at home and at my condo in Ames. I'm don't see that happening for me in the near future. Streaming video just takes too much data to think that mobile is ready to handle it.
