What if UA and ASU wised up and left the PAC 12 for the Big 12? Well, there is obviously the time zone difference to think about. Since most of Arizona does not set there clock ahead this Sunday, then the Arizona schools will be 2 hours different than the Big 12 until the first Sunday in November. Looking at next years schedule as an example, this means that 1/3 of the football schedule has a difference in time zones of 1 hour and for the first 8 games, a difference of 2 hours. I think we can live with that.
For the basketball schedule, the difference is only 1 hour all the time.
So if somehow the Big 12 could lure them away, I don't see the time zone difference being a major issue.
