I've got to hand it to the street crews in Ames, they do a pretty darn nice job handling a snowstorm. It was still snowing/blowing at 2:00 a.m., but when I came down to the office at 4:00 all the main streets were already clear, some to the point of just being wet.
I think we got by with a bit less snow than some areas of the state. I shoveled 2 inches off the driveway last night around 6 p.m., and probably another 2 inches before I left this morning.
