In Spencer, IA. today. I wore an ISU shirt (like I always do) and a Cyclone gridiron club hat.....The amount of crap I got thrown my way today from hox idiots was unbelievable, even for me. I finally had enough and started making snide replies back to them.
1. I'm in one of the commercial buildings and this ass hat selling fuller brushes (no I'm not kidding) randomly says to me as I stroll by, "isn't it hard to wear that shirt and hat today? I looked at him for about 15 seconds and replied, "not as hard as its going to be for you to sell me one of your "fricking" brushes".....
2.Later on, an older guy hox fan is sitting near me eating at noon. He pipes up and says, " Looked like big 10 football was too much for your team saturday"...I replied, "this year , but not last year".....then he kept it up by saying," Nebraska wanted a tougher schedule so they came to the big 10 and got more than they bargained for".
I replied that we were just going to have to agree to disagree and that maybe he better go get checked for dementia.......Let's just say that he did not like my reply
yeah I know that its wrong to stoop to their level, but they provoked me ( a complete stranger to each and every one of them) first.......
Its probably best if the wife just locks me in the Machine shed until after next years game and keeps me supplied with a ample supply of crayons and coloring books until then......
